In BearingPoint’s Commercial Services practice our industry-focused business model helps us provide a rapid return on investment through services tailored to meet our clients’ unique marketplace needs. The industry sectors covered include telecoms, media, utilities, manufacturing, life sciences, retail /distribution and transportation.

We provide a variety of industry specific and generic solutions across all of these sectors. BearingPoint’s approach is to provide a combination of local and global experience enabling the right solution to support the broad range of requirements within the Commercial Services industry. Our offerings combine all of our services to provide an end-to-end service to our clients.

Packaged Application services including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems are major elements of our offerings in Commercial Services. These ERP offerings provide a complete service combining advice, implementation services and managed services to our clients which is a unique and very successful offering in the Irish marketplace. Some example project include:

  • Assistance with the Design and build of an SAP ERP system for a major telecoms company. The scope included Finance, Human Resources (incl. Self Service), Purchasing, Supply Chain and technical consultancy. This work led to BearingPoint providing a complete managed service to the business for the system provided. Our continuous improvement process led to 80+ improvement suggestions through service analysis which have delivered real business improvement and value over the lifetime of the contract.

  • The design, build and implementation of Finance, HR and Enterprise Content Management systems for a dynamic renewable energy company. The design, using a complete Microsoft stack, will provide the client with a cost effective integrated solution that has the flexibility to grow and develop with the organisation.
